Lighting Control

The lighting equivalent of a live host: hardware that drives DMX lights (pars, moving heads, washes) on its own, without a laptop, so a band can run a proper show from the side of the stage. Compare how many DMX universes and fixtures it handles, whether it syncs to the music or to MIDI timecode, and whether it doubles as a MIDI controller for the rest of the rig.
