Multi-Function Keyboards

One keyboard, several instruments. These boards carry a piano, an electric piano, an organ, synth voices or a sample library, usually several at once and often all of them, each with its own controls so nothing is more than a press away. They used to be split into pianos, combo boards and workstations, but the categories stopped meaning anything once nearly every board did all three. Compare the keybed first, because it decides what the board is really for, then which sections it has, the drawbars and whether the outputs are balanced enough for a house desk.
