Hohner Clavinet E7

Discontinued 1982Released 1979

The D6's replacement, and mechanically the same instrument. The reason it exists is electrical. The D6 picked up hum and radio from stage lighting, and the E7 shields it properly. Later and rarer, and it sounds like a D6 because it is one.
