Universal Audio PolyMAX Synth
CurrentReleased 2022
UA's eight-voice polysynth, inspired by the early-80s Jupiters, Oberheims and Prophets rather than copying one: two blendable oscillators with sync and FM, a filter with 2- and 4-pole modes, an arpeggiator and UA's own reverb and tape delay. It launched at $199 and is now free in UAD Explore, and it comes bundled with the new Volt interfaces. Runs natively, no UA hardware needed.
