Mellotron M4000

Streetly Electronics' new tape Mellotron, built by the Bradley family firm that made the originals. It looks like an M400, but inside it has Mk II-style cycling tapes: eight stations of three sounds, so 24 sounds without swapping frames. It also has a lighter Mk II-style action, adjustable head azimuth and a filtered, pressurised cabinet to keep stage smoke off the tapes.
