Mellotron Mark VI

A newly built tape Mellotron from Markus Resch's workshop in Sweden. It is really an M400, re-engineered with a valve preamp, stainless capstan, heavier flywheel, faster keyboard action and a two-speed motor switch. Sound On Sound called it a real Model 400 built properly, and it was the only way to buy a new tape machine in the M400 style. It was built to order by email and is no longer in the shop, and tapes and azimuth do not always match old Streetly frames.
