Arturia MicroFreak

CurrentReleased 2019

A small hybrid synth pairing a single digital oscillator with an analogue state-variable filter. Its flat touch keyboard has polyphonic aftertouch and the oscillator offers more than twenty modes, from wavetable and granular to Mutable Instruments and Noise Engineering algorithms. It is a cheap, portable way into experimental sound design and works well with modular gear thanks to its CV outputs.
